The Royal Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals NSW is a not-for-profit organisation in Australia that cares for, treats, protects, and re-homes animals across the state, providing a strong voice for animals experiencing cruelty and neglect. We run a number of shelters and veterinary hospitals dedicated to treating, rehabilitating and rehoming animals. With over 500 staff, RSPCA NSW is dedicated to working with the community to prevent cruelty to animals by actively promoting their care and protection.
We have two fantastic new roles as our Volunteer Co-Ordinator, at our Hunter and Sydney Shelters and Clinics. We have recognised for a long time, that our volunteers are exceptional and are a vital part to our ongoing success.
It takes a competent leader to succeed in this type of work. You should know how to distinguish volunteer talent and do everything possible to motivate and inspire. You need excellent organisational skills and ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds and experience in a very fast paced environment. The goal is to ensure that RSPCA NSW is always staffed with the best and most reliable volunteers in Australia, and that they are fully utilised for the fulfilment of our mission. It will be a fun role and one that feels great to be a part of.
