Sacred Heart Mission is a community of dedicated people working together to end homelessness and disadvantage. Our strength lies in our shared purpose and values. We welcome individuality and support each other to bring our best and whole selves to the work we do each day.
Join us in making a meaningful difference in a fun and friendly organisation with a big heart.
The Rooming House Plus Program (RHPP) by Sacred Heart Mission (SHM) offers long-term accommodation and support to 66 residents with a history of homelessness and complex needs. Situated in a vibrant six-story apartment block, the program focuses on helping residents build life skills and foster community connections.
We are seeking a compassionate and dynamic Social Inclusion Worker to join our RHPP team for 30.4 hours per week. You'll harness your creative flair to lead art therapy sessions that ignite residents' imaginations and nurture their well-being. This role is pivotal in helping residents develop the skills and networks needed to thrive in the broader community and live fulfilling lives.
Your day-to-day will be a canvas for your creativity, from guiding residents in expressive art sessions to orchestrating engaging community outings and skill-building workshops. We're looking for someone with a quirky creative spirit, ready to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those we serve.
