Your new role

Our GreenLight Program, which works in partnership with VincentCare and the Salvation Army, is looking for a full-time Supportive Housing Case Manager until 30 June 2025, to support individuals in establishing a home and connecting with their community.

As a Supportive Housing Case Manager, you will work within a small team including a Health and Wellbeing worker and a Peer Settlement Support worker. Based in St Kilda, you will support clients across the South and inner metro regions of Melbourne. Your role will involve helping clients settle into housing, stay housed, and improve their quality of life. You will work both in the community and in clients' homes, assisting them in setting goals and accessing services to maintain their tenancies.

Your day to day

A typical day will see you working with team members and clients, delivering case management and service coordination activities, and liaising with other agencies to support people who are experiencing homelessness and social disadvantage.

Essentials for success

  • An appropriate degree qualification relevant to community services.
  • A passion for sustaining tenancies and ending homelessness in Melbourne.
  • Great with time-management and highly organised.
  • Ability to adapt to clients' needs effectively and include the voice of the client while collaborating with different services.
  • Experience in the supportive housing and homelessness space (Other community service area – such as AOD, Justice, Mental Health, Family Violence may be considered).
