Quality Management in Disability Services

In this newly created role, you will head up the Quality Division and report to the General Manager Practice, Quality and Safeguards. You will ensure that best practice quality management is embedded across the organisation and that accreditation is maintained. You will take charge of and enhance all relevant reporting and audit requirements so that Melba is well equipped and informed to provide the highest possible standard of support to the people who purchase its services. You will also have an involvement in measurement and reporting of risk. You will foster relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and will guide and mentor your team and colleagues with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
You are an empowering leader highly skilled in quality compliance and have a demonstrated track record of achieving accreditation in the past. You have a grasp of risk and are innovative in your approach. You are an exceptional communicator able to engage with a wide audience. You may have gained your experience in a range of different industries, but a grasp of disability or other health related areas would be beneficial. You share Melba’s social justice orientation and are committed to supporting people living with disability to live the lives of their choosing and achieve their goals.
