Southern ACT Catchment Group (SACTCG) is seeking a Project Officer to support the SACTCG team to deliver community-based projects including bushfire recovery and citizen science projects.
This is a part-time (15 hours per week) position until 30 June 2021 (with three month probation) and possibility of extension and increase of hours.
Salary: $70,350 p.a. pro rata plus travel expenses, superannuation and Long Service Leave.
Southern ACT Catchment Group (SACTCG) is an umbrella not-for-profit organisation and Landcare Network that supports 24 member community groups and rural landholders in the Southern ACT area. SACTCG works in partnership with the community to improve biodiversity and habitat connectivity and build community understanding of local environments in the Upper Murrumbidgee Catchment.
This position will report to the Executive Officer of Southern ACT Catchment Group. It will work closely with a range of stakeholders including the ACT Government Rangers, environmental volunteers, science organisations and other community organisations.
