Saltbush delivers a variety of programs and services across the Northern Territory, particularly to disadvantaged and at-risk Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and their families.

As the Quality, Risk and Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure the organisation adheres to regulatory obligations along with fostering the development of a positive risk management culture to ensure risks and opportunities are proactively identified, assessed and controlled.

Working collaboratively as part of our Corporate Services team within a dynamic, fast paced environment, the Quality, Risk and Compliance Officer is fundamental in contributing to the sustainability of Saltbush.

Previous experience working in a quality and risk management role would be ideal as would a sound working knowledge and understanding of the Quality Management System (QMS) Standards and/or other certification programs and processes.

As this role will facilitate change for improvement processes, including development and review of policies, procedures and associated documents, excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Essential requirements for this position:

  • National Police Clearance
  • NT Working with Children (OCHRE) Card
  • NT Driver’s Licence
  • COVID-19 Vaccinations
