ABOUT THE ROLE

Samarinda Lodge, our 92 bed aged care facility is extending its front desk reception coverage to Monday – Sunday. We are seeking a highly experienced superstar Receptionist with superior customer service skills and strong administration expertise to join the team. In this pivotal role you are the first point of contact, so you must be able to effectively communicate and deal with a wide range of people including residents, family members, employees, contractors and potential clients.

ABOUT YOU

Our Receptionist will have:

  • Experience in a reception role within aged care/community services/health care or similar environment
  • Strong administration abilities
  • Client focused approach, be a people person with genuine empathy and interest in aged care
  • Friendly, courteous, calm and professional demeanour
  • Ability to prioritise, organise and multi task with attention to detail
  • Ability to troubleshoot operational issues
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills (MS Office Outlook, Word, Excel)

We currently have a Receptionist working Monday – Wednesday so we are looking for someone who can work the following four days with the ability to cover for sick and annual leave.

Thursday and Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm and Saturday and Sunday 10:30am – 3:30pm

We will also consider applications from those who prefer to work only two days – with option of two people to then be employed.
