South Australian Native Title Services (SANTS) is the native title service provider for South Australia delivering services to South Australia’s Traditional Owners. Our primary role is to ensure we protect native title rights and interests, and enhance the economic, social and cultural aspects of their lives.

We are now seeking a Logistics Officer and a Administrative Officer to work in our Business Services Team to start immediately.

Logistics Officer

Reporting to the Administrative Services Coordinator you should be able to:

  • Ensure meeting files are kept and documentation is provided in a timely and ordered fashion for SANTS employees.
  • Maintain database(s) of client addresses and details and other relevant requirements.
  • Contribute to case plan budgeting including forecasting meeting budgets.
  • Provide minute-taking assistance as required.
  • Assist in providing a positive, helpful and courteous reception service to clients, visitors and staff at all times
  • Provide reception support when required
  • Organise meetings with legal representatives and other relevant external parties.
  • Respond to enquiries from clients, other agencies via email or telephone.
  • Assist with booking travel for SANTS employees and clients, including providing a register of bookings to ensure compliance and control.
  • Provide support for projects that look at improving work practices.
  • Utilise SANTS records management system - experience in using Content Manager would be desirable.
  • Work co-operatively as part of the Business Services team.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the application of the Microsoft Office suite.

Compulsory qualifications and attributes:

  • Certificate IV in Business Administration (or other related discipline)
  • 3 years working experience in a similar role.
  • Current South Australian Drivers Licence
  • Interest in Aboriginal cultures and commitment to the principles and practices of Equal Employment Opportunity and Workplace Health and Safety.

Administrative Officers

Reporting to the Administrative Services Coordinator you are required to:

  • Provide administrative and secretarial support including word processing, minute taking, maintenance of files, correspondence and photocopying.
  • Take meeting minutes - this is an essential requirement of the role.
  • Customer service skills when dealing with internal and external customers.
  • Organise meetings with legal representatives and other relevant external parties.
  • Respond to enquiries from clients and other agencies via email and phone.
  • Maintain database(s) of client addresses and details and other relevant information.
  • Contribute to case plan budgeting including forecasting meeting budgets.
  • Assist in providing a positive, helpful and courteous reception service to clients, visitors and staff at all times.
  • Assist with booking travel for all SANTS employees and clients, including providing a register of bookings to ensure compliance and control.
  • Assist in supporting the Archivist with archiving in the SANTS library.
  • Provide support for projects which look at improving work practices.
  • Work co-operatively as part of the Business Services team.
  • Utilise SANTS records management system, experience in using Content Manager would be desirable.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the application of the Microsoft Office suite.

Compulsory qualifications and attributes:

  • Certificate IV in Business Administration (or other related discipline).
  • 3 years working experience in a similar role.
  • Current South Australian Driver's Licence.
  • Interest in Aboriginal cultures and commitment to the principles and practices of Equal Employment Opportunity and Workplace Health and Safety
