Save the Children Australia's Family Support programs work with families who are at risk of statutory intervention, to provide critical support when it's most needed. In this full-time, fixed term position (until 30 June 2020, with potential for extension) based in Darwin, you'll work with families where a child up to the age of 18 has been identified as experiencing or being at very high risk of experiencing neglect. You'll provide support and skills development for families whose children are at risk of, or have had contact with, the child protection system, with the aim of avoiding statutory intervention. You'll be part of our NT Programs team and report to the Team Leader of our Family Support Work programs.
