As part of the team in our education-justice project Out Teach, we need you to think outside the box and push the boundaries on how you support young people who have become disconnected from education or work and become involved in criminal activity. You'll support young people to overcome personal barriers, pursue their interests and take the steps to become the best they can be. Shepparton Out Teach creates a culturally safe space for young people to have fun, build positive relationships, engage with the community and acquire life skills that will set them up for success.

In this part-time, maximum-term (4 days per week for 12 months) position based in Shepparton, you'll provide one to one mentoring to young people to build a strong trusting relationship and develop individualised goals. You'll offer practical assistance such as transport and encouragement to attend appointments, make referrals and support young people to engage with the Out Teach Teacher. As part of our Northern Victoria team, you'll report to our Team Leader.
