Wanted: Role Models. At Save the Children in Brisbane, we work in partnership with the Youth Advocacy Centre to support young people within the youth justice system. We need you to work closely with them and encourage them to take the steps to become the best they can be. Help us support the safety, wellbeing, resilience and development of at-risk children and young people.

In this part-time, fixed term position (4 days a week for 12 months, with potential for extension), based in Brisbane, you'll deliver group activities and individual support that aim to promote social behaviour and help to prevent juvenile crime. As part of our Bail and Order Support Service team, you'll work alongside our Save the Children Case Manager, our community partners and Youth Justice to provide advocacy, mentoring and practical support to young people involved with the Youth Justice system, supporting them to overcome barriers that may be contributing to reoffending and antisocial behaviours. You'll be part of our Youth team and report to our Youth Programs Team Leader.
