Sunbury and Cobaw Community Health is a not-for-profit community health organisation providing a comprehensive range of free and low-cost health, wellbeing and community services in early childhood, youth, families, adults, aged and disability.
Covering an area of over 1700 km2 from Sunbury to beyond the borders of Macedon Ranges Shire our 210 staff and over 60 volunteers are based across four sites at Kyneton, Romsey and Sunbury.
The organisation has a proud history of delivering community health services to the region for 50 years.

The Board has a governance role and models the values of the organisation. As a passionate representative of our communities, you will be aware of the role of community health in the health sector and willing to create strategy that empowers individuals and groups to thrive. You will participate in strategy development, monitoring and review, financial stewardship and have oversight and responsibility of risk management and compliance.
We understand everyone has a unique skillset and we are not looking for a director to cover all the skills, but we are keen to understand the skills and strengths you might bring to the Board. We are currently looking for a person who can demonstrate skills in any or all of the below criteria:
The successful candidate will be required to undertake and maintain a National Criminal History Check (NCHC), a NDIS Safety Screening check and hold a current valid Working with Children Check, register as a Director of a Company, and be subject to key personnel checks as part of ASIC and ACNC regulations.
