SecondBite have an exciting opportunity for an Agency Coordinator to join the team at our warehouse in Penrith. This position is for a contract period ending 30 June 2023, with the successful applicant being responsible for facilitating the redistribution of surplus food from local food donors directly to local community groups.
Key responsibilities include:
- Field initial enquiries with agencies who exhibit interest in the program
- Liaise with stakeholders and program partners
- Ensure State Operations Manager is consulted and kept up to date on activities
- Provide ongoing relationship management for all agencies and associated donors
- Maintain agency profiles in the customer relationship management system
- Implement schedule of agency visits to audit compliance with Community Connect requirements and implement follow up actions according to audit result
- Respond to queries and/or complaints from agencies and associated food donors and resolve any issues
- Maintain in depth understanding of agency capacity and infrastructure to identify where food can be pushed out to
- Work with the Business Analyst on reporting agency performance
- Completing administration and reporting duties in a timely and accurate manner
- Travelling domestically within New South Wales may be required when Government health restrictions allow
About the person:
The successful applicant will have:
- An understanding of community engagement within the not-for-profit and/or food sector
- Effective negotiation skills and the ability to build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in report writing and strong administration skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Resilience and strong problem solving skills
- Drivers licence and vehicle
