One Door Mental Health is a leading for purpose service provider for those living with mental illness, their families and carers.
Our community creates a safe place that connects people, our services are innovative and supported by more than 30 years of experience, and our advocacy work is putting an end to stigma through education and understanding.
Creating a world in which people with a mental illness are valued and treated as equals is at the heart of everything we do.
One Door Mental Health developed Health Care to provide affordable allied health services to people with mental illness, and their families, who are unable to find these services due to financial constraints, or clinician unavailability. Health Care operates from four sites in Sydney, each clinic being co-located with other One Door recovery services. We have psychologists, mental health social workers, exercise physiologists and dieticians providing Better Access, Primary Health Network funded psychological services and NDIS services to clients.
One Door has been commissioned by Central and Eastern Sydney Primary Health Network to deliver the Primary Integrated Care Supports Program (PICS) to support GPs and psychiatrists to support people living with severe and persistent mental illness to stay well living in the community. One Door is seeking mental health nurses to join our team and help expand the service.
PICS nurses will work in a team with peer workers and be supported by the PICS manager, peer worker coordinator, One Door Clinical Director and other PICS nurses. We are looking for experienced mental health nurses, who are preferably credentialed, or willing to complete credentialing. This is an opportunity to take the next step in your career and work in the community in a nurse-led practice.
