Join our Team as a Peer Worker at headspace, Campbelltown!
This is a fixed term part-time role (30.40 hours/fortnight) until 30 June 2025 and has potential for extension depending on organisation conditions.

headspace provides early intervention mental health services to young people aged 12-25. The Holistic Youth Program (HYP) is a service stream of headspace and provides youth friendly, strengths-focused support to young people with, or at risk of developing, a serious mental illness that can significantly impacting their day-to-day work, education, social and/or personal life.
In conjunction with the headspace team, HYP is designed to provide flexible, medium-term care (typically up to 12 months) at no cost. The program focuses on young people who would benefit from a multidisciplinary or team-based approach with the goal of preventing the individual from having to access specialist mental health services and reducing long-term mental ill-health.
As Peer Worker, you will work within the headspace team to provide open, appropriate and effective support to young people accessing the HYP Program. You will:
