The Stakeholder & Events Manager holds a central position in building and nurturing relationships within the Foyer network. This role encompasses a diverse range of relationship and event-related responsibilities. It is instrumental in advancing the organisation's brand, managing project initiatives, and driving effective stakeholder engagement.

We are at an exciting phase of expansion within the Foyer movement across Australia, with the aim of increasing from 11 to 50 Youth Foyers by 2030. Our small yet dynamic core team serves as a catalyst for this growth, harnessing the power of our expanding network. We operate in a networked space that comprises young people, service providers, Foyer operators, housing providers, philanthropic supporters, corporate partners, and government entities.
The Foyer Foundation is the central connector that enables young people, organisations and investors across Australia to work together towards our common goal: aligning activities, gathering evidence and insights, ensuring quality services, and driving advocacy efforts.
For Community Service Organisations - Youth Foyers are delivered by a range of Community Service organisations across the country. The Foyer Foundation’s role includes managing the community of practice for accredited Foyers, ensuring fidelity to the Foyer approach, while fostering innovation based on evidence, collaboration, and the sharing of practice expertise. We pioneer innovative approaches in Foyer practice and service development, staying at the forefront of cutting-edge thinking. We provide capacity building support and grant access to valuable tools that enhance the delivery of best practices within Foyers.
For Government, Philanthropists and Investors - We mobilise funding for the construction and operation of new Foyers and facilitate the alignment of local, regional, and national funding initiatives targeting better outcomes for service-connected young people. We actively engage in research and policy development to drive positive outcomes for service-connected young people. Our commitment includes establishing nationally consistent processes for improving quality, including accreditation and monitoring for individual Foyers.
