We are seeking a skilled and experienced Quality Business Partner and Feedback Management Lead for this dynamic aged care organisation. This position assists Facility Managers of our residential care facilities and Home Care and Short-Term Restorative Care Services in leading and supporting the delivery of a high standard of clinical care for residents and to ensure SRV maintains full accreditation against the Aged Care Quality Standards and other compliance standards as required. This role will have a rotating roster across the homes, visiting each facility at least once a week or where the need arises.
The position will report to the Executive Manager Quality Outcomes and Innovation and will work closely with facility managers and other key staff.
Key responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Supporting the aged care services in managing the Continuous Quality Improvement plans
- Supporting the aged care services in the feedback management process including incident investigations
- Collating and providing the necessary reports to the relevant committees, related to the responsibilities of the role
- Supporting and coordinating efforts in any unannounced visits from relevant external regulatory bodies such as the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission and external independent assurance audits
- Developing Remediation Action Plans where improvements are required and responsible for supporting the managers in remediation
- Coordinating and evaluating SRV’s education program and delivering face to face training sessions were required
Key Selection Criteria:
- Have an undergraduate qualification in Nursing and current registration with AHPRA
- A high level of verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills including presenting, minute taking, complaint response and report writing
- An understanding of the current issues facing the aged care industry and the role and function of the Aged Care Quality & Safety Commission
- Demonstrable evidence of pro-active problem solving resilience and flexibility
- An understanding of the current issues facing the aged care industry and the role and function of the Aged Care Quality & Safety Commission
- Demonstrable experience of being able to pro-actively influence colleagues to achieve desired results.
- Experience in Aged Care, Health Care, or a related sector
- A strong understanding of legislation and standards as they relate to Aged Care and NDIS services
- Experience developing, implementing and/or maintaining quality systems
- Experience in leading and overseeing audit/assurance activities
- Skills and analysing and synthesising information and drawing out implications for practice and improvement
- Experience using process mapping and quality improvement skills to support change management
- Computer literate and proficient in MS Office.
