About Us

Red Nose is Australia’s leading authority on safe sleeping and safe pregnancy advice and has been a key provider of bereavement support following pregnancy, infant and child loss for over 40 years.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a passionate Education Delivery Lead to join our Prevention, Education and Research team. This role is central to delivering high-quality education programs across Australia and contributes to the development of resources that support safer pregnancies and sleeping environments.

You’ll represent Red Nose at baby expos nationwide, lead education sessions, and supervise staff and volunteers at events. This is your chance to make a real difference while working with an organisation that values inclusivity, courage, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging education sessions in person, online, and via social media.
  • Lead and coordinate education programs at events, supervising casual educators and volunteers.
  • Mentor and onboard casual educators to ensure quality facilitation.

  • Respond to online inquiries and provide support through the Safe Sleep Line.

About You

You are an empathetic, skilled communicator with a passion for reducing preventable infant deaths and supporting bereaved families. With energy and adaptability, you thrive in dynamic environments, bringing warmth and active engagement to every interaction. You enjoy mentoring others, facilitating education sessions, and encouraging meaningful participation from diverse audiences.

You will have the flexibility to start later and work several evenings each week to help run our evening webinars which may run until 8pm. Schedules will be agreed upon in advance and these shifts can be worked from home. You’ll also need to be available to attend approximately 12 weekend baby expos annually, with the full schedule provided at the start of the year. Travel and accommodation costs will be covered, and you’ll receive rostered days off during weekdays within those fortnights to ensure your total contracted hours are balanced.

  • Strong emotional intelligence, empathy, and interpersonal skills.
  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
