About the role
This role will support the AUAVS leadership team to achieve the strategic sales plan of increasing market share within the uncrewed aerial vehicle sector.
Some of the key duties will include:
- Support the identification of new business opportunities, including collaborations, contracts with government agencies, commercial enterprises, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with contract delivery team, including product development, marketing, and operations.
- Represent the business at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
- Assist the AUAVS Business Development Manager pursue new business through a sustained process of cold calling, mailing, and following up referrals/leads.
- Assist in undertaking competitor analysis and the maintenance of market knowledge.
- Assist in the development of clear and effective proposals, quotations, and tender submissions.
- Assist in setting new client meetings to present proposals to prospective clients.
- Assist in maintaining relevant databases.
- Assist in maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
What you’ll need
- Experience in Uncrewed Aerial Vehicle Industry.
- Experience and/or formal training in a business development or administration role.
- An understanding of commercial and business acumen.
- The ability to communicate and present through different mediums.
- Experience with design and implementation of business development strategies.
- Experience in developing financial models or using financial tools for potential business opportunities.
- Experience in writing business proposals.
- Experience in supporting teams to achieve and exceed commercial targets.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent networks and / or networking skills.
