The Smith Family is a children’s education charity that helps young Australians experiencing disadvantage to create better futures for themselves through harnessing the power of education.

We are seeking a Corporate Partnerships Coordinator to join our organisation. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Corporate Projects, Insights and Engagement and working alongside dedicated, energised, and passionate team members, this role will provide administrative support to the corporate partnership team. This includes coordinating our workplace giving program and other corporate engagement and volunteering processes and activities. The role is varied and would suit a skilled and experienced fundraising coordinator with preferable experience in supporting corporate partnerships and workplace giving or relevant business expertise.

About our role

You will be responsible for:

  • Facilitate The Smith Family’s workplace giving program to achieve revenue targets.
  • Manage an external workplace giving supporters, platforms and industry bodies to unlock their potential.
  • Support database management to ensure giving records are accurate and complete.
  • Support Relationship Managers to promote and implement workplace giving from new and existing partners.
  • Engage workplace giving participants through bespoke communications journeys.
  • Manage internal and external communications
  • Provide administrative support for team meetings, corporate engagement and volunteering events including scheduling guest speakers, catering, webinar details, preparing agendas, notes taking and recording actions.
  • Support the recruitment of corporate volunteers by preparing materials and internal processes to promote volunteer and other engagement opportunities, administration of volunteers (documentation and compliance), ensuring a seamless registration process, data collection, collecting feedback from volunteers to inform continuous improvement.
  • Assist in the coordination of event invitations and track RSVPs for partnership launches and other events as required.

About you

As well as passion for community, you will bring the following:

  • Tertiary qualification in business-related discipline and/or relevant experience (Fundraising qualifications would be desirable).
  • Experience in supporting corporate partnerships and workplace giving.
  • Experience using a CRM database.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Experience working with budgets and expenditure.
  • Excellent administration capabilities.
  • A positive can-do attitude.
  • Experience in effectively managing relationships to drive engagement and support with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Have or willing to obtain an employee Working With Children's Check.
