The Smith Family is a children’s education charity that helps young Australians experiencing disadvantage to create better futures for themselves through harnessing the power of education. We support over 60,000 students through our flagship Learning for Life program, helping to break the cycle of disadvantage through targeted, long-term support for their education.
We are seeking a Family Partnerships Coordinator to join our organisation. Reporting to the Team Leader, Learning for Life and working alongside dedicated, energised, and passionate team members, this role will support students and their families on the Learning for Life scholarship program. The role will involve planning and implementing The Smith Family Scholarships and taking a strengths-based, family-led practice approach to support stronger educational outcomes for primary and secondary school students. You will maintain key relationships with a range of stakeholders, including families and students on the program, partner schools, community groups and volunteers.
