About the role

We are seeking a Program and Scholarship Administration Specialist (Virtual Team) to coordinate and oversee the effective delivery of a wide range of tasks. Reporting to the Team Leader, Program & Scholarship Administration (Virtual Team) and working alongside dedicated, energised, and passionate team members, you will:

• Coordinate and oversee the effective delivery of a wide range of tasks supported by The Smith Family’s volunteers, including in office Adelaide volunteers as well as volunteers working virtually.
• Participate in special projects and working groups to ensure effective delivery of programs.
• Conduct recruitment, induction, training and supervision of volunteers to complete tasks within agreed timeframes and to determined quality standards.
• Conduct specialist activity to support the overall management of virtual volunteering and operational tasks.

About you

As well as passion for community, you will bring the following:

• Highly developed organisational and administrative skills
• Ability to engage with, support and manage the contribution of virtual volunteers sourced from a variety of backgrounds
• Ability to communicate with varied audiences including the capacity to deliver training
• Advanced computer literacy: Intermediate skills in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Web technologies.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritise workload and meet deadlines
