The Smith Family is a national charity that works with children and young people experiencing poverty to overcome their circumstances and reach their full potential by providing holistic, long-term support for their education.
The Katherine region Communities for Children (CfC) program operates within an area of approximately 326,326.7 km2 of the Northern Territory, encompassing 26 remote communities and five townships between the Queensland and Western Australia borders. Working with a range of organisations, we support inclusive activities and initiatives that improve educational outcomes.
As part of the Communities for Children (CfC) team, the Project Officer will provide support with administration and contract management, as well as data coordination and reporting.
Whether it be meeting with local Elders, attending a Kriol course or upskilling in 4WD Driving, every day will be a little different. As a Project Officer, you will:
