The Smith Family is a children’s education charity that helps young Australians experiencing disadvantage to create better futures for themselves through harnessing the power of education.

We are seeking an experienced Social Media Senior Coordinator to join our organisation. Reporting to the Social Media Campaign Manager and working alongside dedicated, energised, and passionate team members, this role supports the implementation of our paid social media strategies for fundraising campaigns in line with our digital marketing strategy.

About our role

You will be responsible for:

  • Content production and planning.
  • Utilising relevant tools such as Canva to create/edit photos, images, posts, videos, reels.
  • Facebook campaign set up and planning.
  • Social reporting and insights.
  • Develop and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships.

About you

As well as passion for community, you will bring the following:

  • Tertiary qualification in marketing, communications or related/relevant area.
  • At least 2 years of social media marketing experience (with proven results).
  • A solid understanding of the use of Facebook and Business Manager.
  • Editing and copywriting experience suitable for social media. 
  • Project planning experience across multiple stakeholders.
  • Have or willing to obtain an employee Working With Children's Check.
