The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Team Leader to join our growing Social Care Solutions team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and delivery of our foster and kinship care assessment program across Australia and Aotearoa (New Zealand).

SCS provides an office in Clayfield. Working from home can be considered and negotiated with your line manager, with the possibility of occasional intra and interstate travel required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of highly skilled assessors.
  • Oversee the operational aspects of our assessment programs including relationship, financial and workload management.
  • Ensure delivery of robust, high-quality assessments to meet timeframes.
  • Contribute to the strategic growth and development of our business.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, clients, and team members.
  • Work collaboratively with senior leadership to achieve organisational goals.

About You:

  • Proven experience in child protection, foster care, or a related field.
  • Strong leadership, mentorship, and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Passion for social justice and a commitment to ethical practice.
  • Possess a tertiary qualification such as a Bachelor degree in Social Work, Psychology, Social Sciences, Human Services, or related field.
