About the role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Training and Development Officer to join our dynamic team. You will play a vital role in designing, developing, and delivering engaging training programs to equip people with the knowledge and skills they need to make a real difference. This role is part-time, 0.6 FTE.

Key responsibilities:

  • Use innovation, creativity and professional knowledge and skills to develop high quality internal and external training packages.
  • Facilitate training sessions to diverse audiences, ensuring a positive and engaging learning experience.
  • Coordinate and schedule training sessions.
  • Support and guide new trainers.
  • Build and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.

About you:

  • Passionate about social justice and making a positive impact.

  • Proven experience in training and development, with a strong understanding of adult learning principles.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.

  • Highly collaborative and team oriented.

  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to priorities and manage multiple tasks effectively.

  • Experience in working with diverse communities.

  • Possess a tertiary qualification such as a Bachelor degree in Social Work, Psychology, Social Sciences, Human Services, Education, Community Services, Training and Development or related field.
