Your role within our new Indie Project, will allow you to:

• Use your youth engagement skills to co-design a new program supporting young people to grow their confidence, connections and independence
• Lead a team of Peer Mentors to use their lived experience of neurodivergence or disability to provide strengths based and person-centred mentoring
• Build positive connections with schools and work collaboratively with key stakeholders

We are looking for a passionate individual with a desire to make a difference. The successful candidate will have:

• Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in education, disability, community-engaged practice, psychology, social work, youth work or similar
• Demonstrated experience in leading a team in the social and human services sector with a strong understanding of how to support staff to use their lived experience of neurodivergence and/or disability in a professional mentoring capacity
• Demonstrated experience developing and facilitating group activities that are engaging and inclusive of diverse abilities and interests
• Experience and knowledge of working with young people
