Our members are the lifeblood of our peak NFP, and we want your excellent organisational and administrative skills to help our organisation continue to make real impact for Aboriginal communities in WA, and reform the justice system!
Reporting to the People & Business Manager, the Memberships & Organisational Support Officer will be the first point of contact SRWA members and for those engaging with the SRWA team. You will be responsible for the coordinating support for member organisations, and our office services and procedures including, the handling of correspondence, administrative tasks as required, minute taking and supporting logistics for SRWA events and campaigns. You will also provide executive support to the CEO. You will be expected to provide project support to both the Campaign and Justice Reinvestment teams on an ad hoc basis, as capacity allows.
Applicants with a desire for agency, and to work in a highly collaborative, values based team are strongly encouraged. Outstanding organisational skills, and highly developed written and verbal communication skills are essential. An existing knowledge of SRWA and a passion for justice reform and racial and social equality, and experience in working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are highly welcome.
