Position:

Southern CTG ITC Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Outreach Worker (ATSIOW)

Status: Full-time (37.5 hrs per week), fixed-term position

Working Location: Position available to be based in our Sonder Marion Centre. Occasional co-location at our Sonder Onkaparinga Centre will be required. This position is primarily an outreach-based role.

The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Outreach Worker (ATSIOW) will work closely with other CTG ITC team members to better connect Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to health services that will improve the health outcomes of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and reduce the barriers to access appropriate primary health care services.

Certificate level qualification in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander primary health care (or willingness to undertake such training) is a must. The successful applicant will demonstrated effective communication skills and will have a Knowledge and experience in using the Microsoft suite of software and databases.

This position is an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Identified position and is exempt under the Equal Opportunity Act (1984). The position will only be open to those who identify as of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent.
