The Sony Foundation is the charitable arm of the Sony group of companies in Australia. Our mission is to capitalise on the unique qualities of Sony and contribute to the advancement of the Australian community by assisting its youth and fostering their talents.
We’re looking for an experienced Finance Assistant to support the Sony Foundation team in managing the budgeting, processing, auditing and reporting of all financial transactions.
This is a part-time role of 15 hours/week, with flexibility to spread the hours and days across the week as it suits you.
The successful candidate will be an advocate of the work that charities, such as the Sony Foundation do to provide real support for various groups in our community. As such any previous work experience with a not-for-profit organisation or volunteer work will be highly regarded but is not essential.
We’re looking for someone who is exceptionally organised, a confident communicator with excellent attention to detail and experience across the Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint & Word), MYOB, banking platforms & auditing portals. You’ll also have a high level of energy and enthusiasm with the ability to prioritise your work and be proactive. A degree in accounting / finance (or other relevant tertiary qualifications) is needed.
