SSI is launching a new community-based service across Victoria, Queensland and NSW to support participants who have been recently released from Immigration Detention to re-integrate into communities, equipped with the skills and support to manage their psychosocial and health needs, and gain sustainable employment and accommodation.
The role will see you engaging, assessing, and providing holistic culturally responsive treatment and/or external referrals to participants of our Status Resolution Support Service (SRSS) who present with a range of complexities including mental health, alcohol and drug problems, offending and complex trauma as well as complexities regarding there visa situations. The role is also responsible for providing guidance to SSI’S SRSS staff in the development of effective case management strategies including referral to external services.
