Settlement Services International (SSI) is a leading community-based not-for-profit organisation providing a range of services in the areas of refugee settlement, asylum seeker assistance, housing, multicultural foster care, disability support and employment services in NSW. To provide policy and strategic advice for the Settlement Engagement and Transition (SETS) program, to ensure that SSI, its member organisations and other local/regional service delivery partners in the consortium continue to lead in this field. This role will be part of the SSP team and will support strategies which maximise the NSW Settlement Partnership's (NSP) capacity to articulate key social policy positions and strategic planning in the SETS and Youth Collective programs.
You will have relevant tertiary qualifications in a related discipline coupled with demonstrated experience in managing a range of strategic and policy functions within a community service, government, or private sector environment. Commitment to and demonstrated experience in working with multicultural core organisations and communities will be highly desirable. You will have well-developed interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills and an ability to establish and maintain effective internal and external stakeholder relationships. Excellent information/data analysis and reporting skills are a must for this role.
