The role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Allied Services Hub as an Intake Administration Officer who will be the first point of contact for all potential Participants providing a responsive service to move them through the pre-engagement process to service delivery.

The key responsibility of the Intake Administration Officer is the implementation of the intake process that identifies Participant support needs, collates specific data, and provides Participants with an understanding of the services provided. 

To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • Experience in an administrative role with a keen interest in counselling or related discipline
  • Excellent computer skills – Microsoft suite, Internet & email
  • Advanced communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • A responsible attitude to matters of confidentiality.
  • An understanding of cognitive behaviour therapy, desired but not essential
  • An ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
  • Strong motivational interviewing skills
  • Comfortable addressing people presenting with mental health issues
