Is your passion to support Participants to train and assess their Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital Literacy skills to those requiring support within the community?

Do you have an interest in upskilling and reskilling diverse clients to advance their pathway to education and move towards employment?

If you have a keen interest in supporting people to improve their Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital Literacy skills and assist them to develop strong pathways on their journey to employment and/or further education then this could be a role for you!

Our ideal candidate will have: 

  • Exceptional training and assessment skills, with the ability to incorporate various teaching strategies
  • Ability to work with all age groups and a range of nationalities
  • A strong commitment to the valuable role that training plays in assisting diverse people to participate in society
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to embed digital literacy into all training 

What you will bring:

  • TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or TAE40110 including units TAELLN411 and TAESS502 or a Diploma or higher level qualification in adult education plus
  • A specialist adult Language Literacy and Numeracy qualification or TESOL qualification
  • Demonstrated expertise in delivery and assessment of foundation skills, using the ACSF or equivalent
  • A specialist adult Language Literacy and Numeracy qualification, or TAESS00009 Address Foundation Skills in Vocational Practice or a higher level education qualification such as TAE80113 or, Bachelor of Education, Grad Cert or Grad Dip of Education, or higher
