An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Operations Support Coordinator to join the vibrant and motivated team at their bustling Cairns site.

The Position

This role will coach, lead and develop the Customer Service team as well as coordinate and contribute to the day to day operational and customer service activities across all programs and services covering Cairns and regional FNQ.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the day to day operations to support customers, the training programs, and the Teaching teams
  • Gain and maintain accurate and current information on the programs and services to deliver proactive customer service to internal and external customers
  • Prioritise the recording, accuracy and currency of data to be able to retrieve information and reports on all aspects of operations and performance
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of RTO Management Systems and Australian Qualifications Framework specifications to ensure all administrative processes are conducted in accordance with requirements
  • Work collaboratively with the broader site team to provide high level support, including facilities and resource coordination, for training delivery

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum qualification of a Cert IV in Business Administration or other relevant qualification supported by strong experience in providing senior level administration support
  • RTO / Vocational Education experience highly desirable
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in preparing written correspondence, reports and administration support
  • Proven high level experience in developing and administering databases and spreadsheets
  • Supportive and effective coaching and supervisory style that delivers a team approach to activities, focussing on student and employee engagement and drives a positive performance culture

Applicants must have a current Driver Licence and have the ability to obtain a National Police Clearance and Working With Children's card.
