A great opportunity is now available for enthusiastic and experienced Support Workers who would like to contribute to and make a positive impact in the Disability Sector across the Sunshine Coast region!

We have Support Work & Home Care opportunities across SIL Housing and Community Access - early morning and late afternoon, night, split shifts, awake shifts, weekends and overnight shifts are available.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to customers
• Household domestic assistance duties including cleaning of bathrooms and kitchens, bed making, ironing and laundry
• Meal preparation and planning
• Work with clients to develop individualised support plans
• Assist customers to access the community including shopping, social outings & transport to appointments

The Successful Applicant

• Relevant Certificate Qualification (e.g. Aged, Care Individual Support or Mental Health) is highly recommended
• Experience working with people with disabilities or working in a similar role is ideal
• Experience with complex needs and behaviours are highly regarded
• Flexibility to work early morning and late afternoon, night, split shifts, awake shifts, weekends and potentially overnight shifts are highly regarded
• Have the ability to work autonomously, be proactive with problem solving and follow directions from supervisors

The successful applicant must also hold an Australian Open Driver's Licence with full car comprehensive insurance, Evidence of Rights to Work in Australia, hold a Blue Card, NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
