We are seeking an experienced Trainer to deliver engaging and interactive training based around language, literacy and numeracy at Katherine and Venn, NT.

The Position

As a SEE Trainer your responsibilities will include:

• Deliver engaging and meaningful Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital training
• Provide flexible learning delivery, adapting resources and delivery methods to meet the individual needs and goals of clients
• The ability to problem solve and overcome challenges to meet the requirements of the contract
• Work collaboratively with key stakeholders
• Undertake accurate assessment and record keeping to ensure compliance and consistency

The Successful Applicant

To be considered for this opportunity you must meet the following criteria:

• Hold a current Certificate IV Training and Assessment - 40116 or higher
• Foundation Skills Upgrade Units - TAESS00009 (or be willing to obtain within first 3 months of employment)
• At least 100 hours of Adult education experience
• Ability to apply culturally competent practices

Applicants must also have:

• Evidence of right to work in Australia
• A current Drivers Licence
• Be willing to undertake a Police Clearance
• Hold a current OCHRE Card (or be willing obtain)
