Our Client's site in Townsville is growing and they are now looking for a Trainer and Assessor to work full time hours across Monday - Friday on a 12 month contract.

This training program is designed to be delivered to adult learners from all walks of life, teaching basic language, literacy and numeracy training to help them succeed in their employment or education pathway.

The position

As an LLND Trainer your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering engaging and contextualised language, literacy, numeracy and digital training.
• Provide flexible delivery, adapting resources to meet the individual needs and learning goals of participants.
• The ability to problem solve and overcome challenges to meet the requirements of the program.
• Undertake accurate assessment and record keeping to ensure compliance and consistency.

The successful applicant

To be considered for this opportunity you must meet the following criteria:

• Hold a current TAE40116 Certificate IV Training and Assessment or higher level adult education qualification.
• Hold the Foundation Skills Integration Skillset TAESS0026 (or ability to obtain).
• At least 100 hours of Adult education experience.
• An understanding of and respect for diversity and Indigenous Australian culture and customs.

Applicants must have the ability to complete a Police Check and have a current Driver's Licence.
