We are looking for an experienced trainer to work full time hours across Monday to Friday to deliver basic Language, Literacy, Numeracy & Digital skills (LLND) training through the Skills for Education & Employment (SEE) Program. The role will be based at our Mareeba and Ravenshoe sites.

The Position

As a SEE Trainer your responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver engaging and meaningful Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital training.
  • Provide flexible learning delivery, adapting resources and delivery methods to meet the individual needs and goals of clients.
  • The ability to problem solve and overcome challenges to meet the requirements of the contract.
  • Work collaboratively with key stakeholders.
  • Undertake accurate assessment and record keeping to ensure compliance and consistency.

The Successful Applicant

To be considered for this opportunity you must meet the following criteria:

  • Hold a current Certificate IV Training and Assessment - 40116 or higher.
  • Foundation Skills Intergration Skillset - TAESS00026 (or be willing to obtain within first 3 months of employment).
  • At least 100 hours of adult education experience.
  • Ability to apply culturally competent practices.

Applicants must also have:

  • Evidence of right to work in Australia.
  • A current Driver Licence.
  • Be willing to undertake a national police clearance.
