About the role

St John Ambulance is looking for enthusiastic and passionate people to join our growing team of first aid Trainer Assessors. As a Trainer Assessor, you will help empower our community with the confidence and skills to respond in emergency situations. 

You will be responsible for delivering high quality short courses in first aid and health to a diverse range of students or workplaces. 

This is an ideal role for someone with a training background who is willing to learn new skills in first aid or is interested in using their healthcare experience to teach others. 

Successful applicants

  • Hold Certificate IV TAE40116 equivalent or higher
  • Have experience in a related field such as first aid, healthcare, occupational health and safety, childcare, sports training, mental health or social work
  • Be competent with technology and embrace innovative training solutions
  • Outstanding training and facilitation skills
  • A current NSW drivers license and vehicle
  • Proof of a COVID-19 vaccination
