About the role:

St John NSW is extending our services to the community with the addition of Mental Health First Aid courses to our current suite of First Aid training courses. These courses will be delivered at a range of St John venues across NSW, satellite venues and at various workplaces.

We are currently looking for several enthusiastic and passionate licensed Mental Health First Aid Instructors to join our growing Training team to deliver Mental Health First Aid ® Australia courses.

Successful applicants:

  • Will hold a Mental Health First Aid ® Australia Instructor’s license.
  • Have the Certificate IV TAE40116 equivalent or higher.
  • Maintain compliance with St John NSW policies and meet the requirements of Mental Health First Aid ® Australia for Instructors.
  • Have experience in a related field such as first aid, healthcare, occupational health and safety, childcare, sports training, wellbeing or social work.
  • Be competent with technology and embrace innovative training solutions.
  • Outstanding training and facilitation skills.
  • A current NSW drivers license and vehicle.
