ABOUT THE ROLE

St Joseph’s Family Services (SJFS) are seeking an experienced and confident Administration Officer to join the team at Joey's House Early Education Centre. This role is integral to the success of the Centre and is responsible for its end-to-end administration needs, with a focus on quality, professionalism, exceptional customer service and teamwork.

The position will be offered to the successful applicant as a Permanent Part -Time position of 60hrs hours a fortnight, working 08:00 - 16:00, 4 days a week.

WHO YOU ARE

  • You are committed to work in harmony with Catholic Values and Principles
  • Demonstrated experience working in a busy administrative role, within a similar environment (Desirable)
  • Intermediate / Advanced computer and Microsoft Office skills
  • Knowledge or experience with Childcare Programs (Desirable)
  • Knowledge or experience overseeing accounts and payments 
  • Experience with rostering / payroll systems (Desirable)
  • NSW Working with Children Check clearance or the ability to obtain
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to develop effective working relationships with staff and families
  • Ability to work independently, with limited supervision and demonstrated capacity to work collegially across the team
