Street Law Centre WA Inc is a state wide specialist community legal centre that delivers legal services to those experiencing and at risk of experiencing homelessness.

Street Law delivers its legal service through its outreach legal clinics. Street Law’s legal clinics are co located at various community service agencies throughout the metropolitan and outer metropolitan areas with pop up legal clinics taking place in regional and RRR areas bi annually. In addition, Street Law has a comprehensive community legal education program and contributes to policy and law reform.

THE CENTRE COORDINATOR

The Centre Coordinator position is integral to the smooth running of Street Law by ensuring high level office coordination, management support and supervision of non legal staff.

The position is 0.6 FTE with a contract to 30 June 2025. The extension of the contract would depend upon the availability of ongoing funding. The specific hours and days will be negotiated with the Principal Solicitor, with an aim to meet the needs of both the organization and the individual.

This position will be paid pursuant to the Social and Community Services (Western Australia) Interim Award 2011. In addition to Award entitlements additional leave is paid between Christmas and New Year.

Salary packing is available in accordance with Street Law’s salary packaging policy.
