We are a not-for-profit, GP-led mobile medical service for those who are vulnerable or experiencing homelessness.
We collaborate with pre-existing homelessness charities, shelters, and services to provide primary healthcare specifically for this cohort.
Currently operating from several sites across Sydney, Melbourne and wider NSW on a regular weekly basis, with plans to expand our reach. Each clinic is staffed by skilled volunteers who work from a well-equipped mobile medical van, providing a primary health care service to the standard of a traditional General Practice.
Our Vision is to deliver better health and wellbeing outcomes for people who are vulnerable or experiencing homelessness.
Street Side Medics is a registered charity and is largely volunteer run.
You are someone that takes initiative and pride in ensuring the smooth running of our day-to-day operations. With a keen eye for detail, you ensure that all aspects of the clinic operations are underpinned by quality, safety and care.
Engagement is at the core of what you do. You seamlessly interact with our dedicated volunteers, ensuring they are equipped and motivated to support our cause effectively. Your ability to foster meaningful connections extends to our community partners as well, as you collaborate with key stakeholders to enhance our services impact.
You understand that Street Side Medics is in a growth phase and is in the early years of the organisation and are motivated by being a critical part of embedding and/or establishing policies, procedures, and the culture of the organisation.
Street Side Medics is looking for an experienced and passionate professional that will oversee the day-to-day operations of clinics throughout NSW. The Clinic Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting our Operations Manager to manage the smooth running of our current and new clinics across NSW.
At Street Side Medics, we value diversity. We are committed to fostering an inclusive workplace for all people. We welcome applications from Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islanders, people of all ages, identity, and abilities.
