Role overview:

This is an exciting opportunity to oversee day-to-day operations and clinical governance. We are seeking a dynamic leader with strong leadership skills, sound clinical knowledge and experience in mental health care and service delivery.

The Centre Manager is a member of headspace by Stride Management Team, reporting into the Regional Manager, and overseeing headspace Hurstville & Miranda.

Responsibilities include:

  • Clinical Governance, Service Delivery oversight, Contract Management, Stakeholder and Partnership Engagement, financial and human resources management as well as maintaining oversight of compliance with funding and reporting requirements
  • Lead the clinical governance of the headspace centres, resulting in better quality services and improved clinical outcomes for young people and their families, as well as better clinical systems and support for staff
  • Review and development of clinical systems, clinical quality and risk management, HR management, as well as compliance with Stride and headspace clinical reporting requirements.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary level education in Social Work, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, or Nursing
  • Demonstrated leadership and management in multidisciplinary and/or cross sector initiatives including consultation, engagement, and partnership with a wide range of professionals and organisations and stakeholders
  • Must have in depth clinical knowledge/experience and skills in mental health care and in the management of contemporary mental health service delivery
  • Experience in strategic planning and complex program management
  • Ability to establish, build and sustain positive relationships with team members, clients, internal and external stakeholders
  • Knowledge and commitment to the principles of continuous quality improvement, including skills in the development of comprehensive policies and procedures, workplace health and safety systems and evaluation and risk management resources and tools
  • Self-motivated with the ability to operate autonomously when required.
  • Excellent verbal communication and writing skills
  • Must be eligible to apply/currently hold a WWCC
  • Must hold/be willing to apply for NDIS worker screening clearance
