Our Service:
headspace Centres act as a one-stop-shop for young people who need help with mental health, physical health, alcohol and other drugs and/or work and study support.
On offer:
- Based in headspace Hurstville & headspace Miranda
- Part-time, fixed term opportunity until 30/06/2025- 4 days per week. 2 days at each centre

Role overview:
- Acts as the central point of communication and provides a superior level of secretarial and reception services to young people, clinical and management headspace staff.
- Medical Reception duties including taking incoming calls and directing the caller to the appropriate member of staff.
- Appointment scheduling and maintenance of clients
- General Office duties including opening and distribution of mail typing, scanning, filing and archiving.
- Assist in the closing and securing of the building at the end of the day.
- Typing of Medical letters to members of the clinical team
Requirements:
- Ideally a Cert III in Medical Administration or similar qualification
- Excellent administration, time management and organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of the health /NFP sector with an ability to liaise with people from diverse backgrounds
- Proven record in working closely with and being a successful member of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated communication, interpersonal, problem solving and organisational skills
- Well-developed customer service skills
- Ability to think and act calmly and deal sensitively with distressed people.
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills
- Understanding of duty of care, rights to privacy and confidentiality
- Must have good availability
- Must be eligible to apply/currently hold a WWCC
- Must hold/be willing to apply for NDIS worker screening clearance
- A current unencumbered driver's license
