The Medicare Mental Health Services are free and you do not need an appointment, referral or Medicare card to visit a Medicare Mental Health Centre. The new services in Launceston, Devonport, Burnie and Outer Hobart are co-funded by the Australian and Tasmanian Governments, to provide a streamlined approach to support better mental health and social wellbeing across the country.
The service is tailored to the needs of the community in Tasmania and provides a combination of peer-led recovery and clinical support.

The Operations Manager is a member of Stride’s management team and the responsibilities of the role include contract management, performance & reporting, stakeholder and partnership engagement, management of the community engagement program, and of the Centre admin teams. Working closely with the Clinical Services Manager and Clinical Team Leaders, the Operations Manager is responsible for the overall management of four satellite Centres.
