Role overview:

  • Provide general administrative support to the NSW Residential team, including telephone calls, petty cash management, credit card reconciliations and oversight of office equipment maintenance and repairs as required.
  • Assist in the sourcing of appropriate service providers and contractors for property maintenance and establishment
  • Assist in the management of property services projects
  • Provide secretarial support as required for meetings, including agenda preparation, arrange catering and minute taking.
  • Maintain and monitor stationery, office supplies and consumables
  • Coordinate all site maintenance and WHS issues including workplace health and safety requirements, hazard inspections, safe practice and environment audits and others as required
  • Participate in risk management activities and report any risks identified to the Manager
  • Other duties relevant to the position as require

Requirements:

  • Ideally a Cert III in Business Administration or similar qualification
  • Excellent organisation skills with the ability to balance competing priorities
  • Must have 3-5 years experience providing administration support to a team
  • Be able to manage the admin requirements of multiple sites across a large region
  • Experience working within a health service
  • Ability to maintain a calm, pleasant and respectful manner and to deal with a diverse range of people
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, problem solve and work flexibly and seek counsel where appropriate
  • Demonstrated computer knowledge with skill in Microsoft Office programs
  • A positive attitude that is, respectful, inclusive and enthusiastic.
  • Must be eligible to apply/currently hold a WWCC
  • Must hold/be willing to apply for NDIS worker screening clearance
