About our service:

The LikeMind service is a mental health initiative funded by the NSW Ministry of Health. Stride is the lead agency of LikeMind in Orange and Wagga Wagga. In partnership with local health and community Organisations, LikeMind aims to improve access to care for adults with mental health concerns across four core streams (mental health, primary health, drug and alcohol, and vocational/psychosocial)

About the role:

This is a leadership role and involves the management and continuous improvement of innovative and effective operational and clinical systems that support and facilitate the delivery of quality services to our consumers and their families and carers. Work in partnership with service providers to provide evidence-based services to people with mental health issues.

Requirements:

  • Must have full AHPRA registration as a Psychologist / Mental Health Nurse / Occupational Therapist or a Social Worker with AASW registration.
  • Demonstrated experience managing a mental health service.
  • Experience in managing a health/mental health or multidisciplinary community health service.
  • Demonstrated experience overseeing, staff to ensure quality clinical practices including the implementation of individual assessment, diagnosis, treatment, follow up, multidisciplinary consultation and liaison with referring agents.
  • Knowledge of the rationale, principles and evidence for integrated service delivery models for mental health consumers.
  • Must be eligible to apply/currently hold a WWCC.
  • Must hold/be willing to apply for NDIS worker screening clearance.
