An exciting opportunity has become available at St. Vincent's Hospital Melbourne in our Peri-operative Services. This position is an Associate Nurse Unit Manager for ENT. ENT is a large specialty covering not only Ear, Nose and Throat surgery but also working in conjunction with Neurosurgery due to the overlap of surgical demand in resection of skull base tumours. Your pre-existing knowledge of ENT surgery will be embarked with neuro surgical skills as both specialties often have combined cases. Your role will include in-depth knowledge of ENT procedures. You will be working very closely with multiple ENT Consultants and Registrars.

Classifications for this position will range between YW11 - YW12 ( $106,834.00 - $110,432.10 per annum pro rata).
St Vincent's Operating Suite currently houses 12 theatres, 12 anaesthetic rooms and a Post Anaesthetic Care Area. Working alongside the Sterile Processing Centre, Day Procedures and Endoscopy Centres the department undertakes over 12,000 procedures per year in a vast range of highly specialised and complex specialities over a 24 hour period, 7 days per week. Perioperative services at SVHM include 12 operating theatres which include; Cardiac, Thoracic, ENT, Maxillo-Facial, Plastics, Neuro, General (Upper, Lower GI and Hepato-biliary), Breast Endocrine, Urology and Orthopaedics.
